Kairetool is The Beauty Tool That Might Just Replace My Facial Roller
Selfkaire developed a tool that addresses the drawbacks of a traditional roller. It's made of surgical steel, so it's much sturdier than a traditional roller which is great for those of us that like to apply more pressure when massaging, and the gentle rounded pins at the end can be used to target acupressure points. Plus a huge bonus: it looks great on my vanity. But what I love most about Kairetool is that it's more than just a beauty tool. It's incredibly versatile and it can be used on your body as well!
4 Eye Products To Make You Look Well-Rested (Even When You're Not)
We all know the solution to looking well-rested is to get a full nightβs sleep every night. But since we know this isnβt always realistic, here are a few products that can keep your eyes looking bright, smooth, and refreshed in the mornings.
Review: Fall Empties
I decided to save a few products I've finished over the past 3 months or so because I think "empties" reviews are really important! I normally review products after testing them for about 3-6 weeks, and that's typically enough time for me to determine what I think, but sometimes my thoughts change over time. So welcome to my first empties post!
Skincare 101: The Best Way to Use Hyaluronic Acid in your Routine
Hyaluronic Acid is produced naturally in our bodies, and when applied topically, it can give you an amazing moisture boost and can plump your skin, reducing the appearing of fine lines and wrinkles. Sounds like a miracle, I know, but it's science! However HA isn't the most straightforward ingredient to incorporate into your skincare routine, and using it incorrectly can actually dehydrate your skin.
Battling Dry and Dehydrated Winter Skin with My Favorite Moisturizers
As an oily-skinned girl, I always notice my oiliness increase at the start of cold-weather season. If you notice you become oily in cold weather as well, it's often because your skin isΒ dehydrated and it's trying to overcompensate by producing extra oil. So my increased oiliness is usuallyΒ a sign that I need to start stepping up my moisturizer game. Let me introduce you to four of my favorite moisturizers for the fall and winter season.
My Favorite Hydrating Wash-Off Mask This Fall
Like all Farmacy products, Honey Potion includes hydrating honey sourced from their farms in upstate New York. According to the brand, the bees pollinate their trademarked GreenEnvy flowers, which infuses their honey with antioxidants. The sticky honey-textured mask lathers into a rich cream and produces a warming sensation when applied. The first time I used it,Β I didn't realize it was supposed to warm up so I was somewhatΒ alarmed - but don't fret! It's totally normal and after knowing what to expect, I really appreciate the warmth and I'll welcome it with open arms during particularly cold days. The warming sensation stayed pretty consistent during the 15 minutes that I let the mask sit, but it wasn't overwhelming.
How to Recharge After a Stressful Week
Over the 6 years I've lived in NYC, I've learned that consistent self-care rituals are an absolute necessity for me to remain calm amongst hectic city life. In my post about how to survive end-of-summer blues, I wrote about how important it is to plan fall activities to look forward to. So I started this Sunday by celebrating fall in the best way - apple picking! It hit all of the ingredients I need for a perfect Self-Care Sunday.
This Lighted Mirror Is The Key To Flawless Makeup
Unlike a lot of makeup mirrors which are only meant to give you additional lighting, the Spotlite HD Diamond 2.0 was created with the intention of mimicking true natural daylight. It allows you to see your true complexion and makeup exactly as it will look outside β so no more makeup mistakes!
Sun Bum: A Sunscreen Love Story
One of the highlights of my summer was discovering Sun Bum! I'm pretty serious about sunscreen, and it's paying off as I learned during my visit to Atolla Skin Lab and when I found out that I have no signs of sun damage.Β Before going on a cruise last month, I asked for body sunscreen recommendations, and so many of your answers said I should give Sun Bum a try! Sun Bum's products are vegan and reef-safe, and in addition to all of their sunscreens having broad spectrum SPF ratings, they also all contain Vitamin E which helps to combat free radical damage and is intensely moisturizing.

I feel like everyone I know is catching the end-of-summer-blues! As labor day weekend approaches, people start thinking about the start of school, Summer Fridays ending at work, or the weather getting a little chilly. Here are some tips to surviving the end of summer!
Uncomplicating Skincare: How to Layer Your Skincare Products
Itβs so easy to get overwhelmed when adding a new product to your routine because youβre not sure how to use it. And, honestly, I get it. Thereβs so much information out there on how or when and if you should use a product and itβs a lot to take in.My unpopular opinion? Stop worrying about it! Sort of.
I Tried A Customized Hair Care Routine and Itβs a Total Game Changer
Personalized hair care makes so much sense to me and I don't know why it took me so long to try it out.Β Everyone's skin, hair, body, and preferences are different, so why should our beauty formulas be the same?
The Pubic Hair Oil I Didn't Know I Needed In My Beauty Routine
I love so much about Fur Oil from the beautiful packaging to how soothing it feels on my legs post-shave. But I'm also in love with the ethos of this brand and how they're taking steps to normalize body hair on women.
REVIEW: Maybelline's Color Sensational Shine Compulsion Lipstick
I was recently gifted Maybelline's Color Sensational Shine Compulsion Lipstick which claims to leave your lips both "Beautifully hydrated," shiny, and pigmented. I can get on board with all of these things, so I was eager to try it out!
Review: Sunday Riley for Acne-Prone Skin
After enjoying my first Sunday Riley PurchaseΒ earlier this year, I was eager to try more of their products. And since I'm constantly looking for products that control oil and treat acne, I decided to test out the Space Race collection which includes the: Martian Mattifying Toner, UFO Oil, and Martian Mask. I've slowly goldilocks-ed my way through each of the 3 products, one of which was absolutely not the right fit for me and another that I'd repurchase in a heartbeat.
Review: Glossier Lash Slick
Glossier's Lash Slick is completely worth the hype surrounding it because I love tubing mascara! Iβm incredibly picky with mascara because I almost always end up with raccoon eyes, but when I learned about tubing mascara a couple of years ago my life was changed.
Kiehlβs Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF 25
Sunscreen is necessary on every part of your body that gets exposed to the sun. And a few weeks ago I realized Iβd been making a terrible mistake: I wear sunscreen every single day without fail, but my lips have been totally unprotected!
