Happy New Year's Eve everyone! It's been just over a year since I started Levitate Beauty and I can't thank you enough for all the love and support you've given me this year! I couldn't end the year without giving recognition to my top 10 skin-changing products of 2018. So let's get right into it!:

10. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

My top 10 skincare products of 2018 | The Ordinary Deciem Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% | How to treat acne on a budget | Best affordable skincare products for acne-prone skin | How to get rid of dark spots and hyperpigmentation | Best serums from The Ordinary Deciem | Skincare on a budget | SKincare shelfie | Beauty photography | LevitateBeauty.com

This serum is making it onto my list for the second year in a row! It's been a weird year for Deciem, and I actually stopped buying their products for a bit this year, but the Niacinamide serum is the one I had the hardest time letting go of. I was incredibly excited to finally have it back in my routine. It was my very first true Holy Grail product ever. Both ingredients work together to reduce blemishes and balance sebum activity, and this has really helped to even out my skin tone and reduce dark spots from past breakouts. I still use The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% every night, mixed with a hydrating serum.

9. Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask

Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask | Best masks for acne | Best skincare products for acne-prone skin | How to clear acne | Skincare routine for acne | Top 10 skincare products of 2018 LevitateBeauty.com

I discovered Sunday Riley’s Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask this summer and it quickly became one of my favorite masks. The main ingredients are Niacinamide, Sulfur, and Zinc, which effectively target my breakouts. I highly recommend it to those of you with oily/acne-prone skin because it’s not overdrying, unlike most of the clay masks I use to keep my acne and oiliness at bay. And considering it does contain sulfur, it smells pretty decent, and there’s only a very slight sulfur-y smell of eggs when I wash it off. I've tried the other products in Sunday Riley's acne-treatment line this year as well, and you can read my full review here.

8. LifeFlo Tamanu Oil

My Top 10 Skincare Products of 2018 | Lifeflo Tamanu oil | Best natural products for acne | Best oils for acne-prone skin | Natural remedies for acne and hyperpigmentation | How to get rid of acne with oil | The best oil for acne-prone skin | Best natural oils for skincare | Tamanu oil for burns and bug bites | LevitateBeauty.com

Tamanu oil has been a complete game changer for me! I heard about it for the first time while watching one of Liah Yoo's videos earlier this year and knew I had to try it out immediately. Tamanu oil is basically a miracle oil! It has amazing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It's a great oil for soothing irritated skin, reducing acne, and lightening hyperpigmentation. Sometimes I'll put this on a pimple before bed and when I wake up the next morning it's gone. Seriously, it's that effective! It's also incredibly versatile so I'll also use it when I need to soothe mosquito bites or minor burns.

7. Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream

My Top 10 Skincare Products of 2018 | Best Korean SUnscreen | Cosrx Aloe Soothing SUn Cream SPF 50 PA+++ | Best affordable sunscreens | Best sunscreens for vacation | How to prevent dark spots and hyperpigmentation | Dr.G Milkd Up Sunscreen | Supergoop Mineral Sunscreen | Neautrogena Sport Face Sunscreen | Best Summer Skincare Products | Best Reef Safe Sunscreens | LevitateBeauty.com

After almost two years of searching for a sunscreen that both didn't break me out, didn't make me oily, and played nicely with makeup, I finally found it this summer! Cosrx's Aloe Soothing Sun Cream is a hybrid chemical and mineral sunscreen with SPF 50 PA+++. It applies smoothly and I haven't had any issues with oiliness or applying makeup as long as I wait a few minutes for it to fully absorb before applying foundation. I even got my boyfriend hooked on this sunscreen and we've gone through several bottles over the past 6 months.

6. Krave Beet the Sun (aka The Beet Sheild)

My Top 10 products of 2018 | Krave Beauty Beet The Sun The Beet Shield | Liah Yoo Krave Beauty Skincare | Best Hydrating Sunscreens | Best Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin | Best Sunscreen to use under makeup | Antioxidnat sunscreen | Best korean sunscreen | Best Sunscreen for dry skin | Best sunscreen for acne-prone skin | Best sunscreen for winter | Best sunscreen for summer | Top shelfie | Skincare routine | LevitateBeauty.com

Krave's Beet the Sun was probably my most anticipated launch of this year and it did not let me down at all. It hits every point of my sunscreen wish list and more. It's lightweight. It has zero white cast. It contains antioxidants. It's super hydrating. And it also doubles as a silky smooth primer if you wear foundation. I'd always thought I preferred matte sunscreens, but Beet the Sun totally changed my mind - I love the dewy glow it gives me when I use it!

5. Sunday Riley CEO

My top 10 products of 2018 | Sunday riley ceo | Best Vitamin C serums | Vitamin C serums without L-ascorbic acid | How to get rid of dark spots and hyperpigmentation | Vitamin C antioxidant skincare | Skincare shelfie | Top shelfie | Fur Oil | Dr. Jart Cicapair Color Correcting Cream with SPF | Milk Mkeup Holographic Highlighter Stick | glossier Balm dot com | Rosehipseed oil | Good Science Beauty | Skincare Routine | Skincare shelfie aesthetics | Beauty aesthetics | Skincare blogger | Best skincare for acne-prone skin | Urban Outfitters Shelf | vanity Inspiration | Luxury skincare | LevitateBeauty.com

Sunday Riley CEO was my first and favorite vitamin C serum and I've gone through 2 bottles this year. The most common form of Vitamin C is L-ascorbic acid (liekly because it's the most well-researched form of vitamin C), but CEO uses THD Ascorbate making it a good choice if you think you might be sensitive to L-ascorbic acid. Since adding CEO to my daily morning routine, my skin has been brighter and my dark spots have reduced drastically.

4. Farmacy Honeymoon Glow

My top 10 products of 2018 | Farmacy Honeymoon Glow | Natural skincare products | Clean beauty | Cruelty free beauty and skincare | Luxury clean skincare | Best acid exfoliators AHA | Best products for acne prone skin | LevitateBeauty.com

When Honeymoon Glow launched this summer, I couldn't have felt more neutral about it because an AHA/BHA night serum didn't sound super revolutionary to me. But when the brand gifted me a bottle to try, it only took me one night to realize how wrong I'd been. Honeymoon Glow is a mix of 14% AHA/BHA, Hyaluronic Acid, and Farmacy's signature honey blend. I apply 1 pump of this serum once a week and wake up with seriously smooth, glowing skin.

3. Good Science Beauty 003-Hy Hydrating Face Cream

My top 10 products of 2018 | Best Science Based skincare | Cruelty Free skincare | Good Science Beauty 003-Hy Hydrating Face Cream | Good Science Beauty 004-Br Brightening Face Cream | Morning skincare routine | Skincare shelfie | Skincare Beauty flatlay | How to get rid of acne | Best hyaluronic Acid Products for Winter | Best skincare products for dry skin | LevitateBeauty.com

I have to start this off by saying that Good Science Beauty's entire line has blown me away this year. But their Hydrating Face Cream is the one that I turn to most often. A little goes a long way and one pump is all I need to cover my entire face (I learned this the hard way by wasting 3 whole pumps and realizing I didn't need that much). Good Science Beauty's Hydrating Face Cream uses hyaluronic acid to hydrate your skin and I've been really impressed by how well it absorbs and how smooth and supple my face feels immediately after I use it.

2. Farmacy Honey Potion

My top 10 products of 2018 | Farmacy Beauty Clean Skincare | Farmacy Beauty Natural Skincare | Best luxury clean beauty products | Best hydrating face mask for winter | Best face mask for acne prone or dry skin | Best luxury skincare products | skincare routine | cruelty free skincare | SKincare shelfie | Beauty blogger | Skincare blogger | Skincare aesthetic | Farmacy Grren Clean | Farmacy Bright On Mask | Farmacy Honeymoon Glow | Best natural cleansing balms | LevitateBeauty.com

I wrote a full review about Farmacy's Honey Potion earlier in the fall and it's still the mask I reach for most frequently. The sticky honey-textured mask lathers into a rich cream and produces a warming sensation when applied, making it one of the most luxurious-feeling masks I own.

Like all Farmacy products, Honey Potion includes hydrating honey sourced from their farms. It also contains propolis and royal jelly (which have anti-aging properties), B-vitamins to soothe dry skin, and glycerin to make your skin hydrated, supple, and smooth.

1. Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser

My top 10 products of 2018 | Liah Yoo Krave Beauty Skincare | Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser | best hydrating cleanser | best cleanser for all skin types | Best cleanser for acne-rone or dry skin | Krave Beet the Sun | Krave Kale-Lalu-yAHA AHA Glycolic Acid Serum | Best k-beauty products | Skincare routine | Skincare collection | LevitateBeauty.com

If you've spent any time on my Instagram, it should come as no surprise to you that Krave's Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is my absolute favorite product of 2018. I have so much love for Liah Yoo’s skincare brand, Krave Beauty and the airy-yet-jam-like consistency of the Matcha Hemp Hydrating cleanser makes it an absolute dream to use. It has a low pH (5.0-6.0), it contains vitamin b5 to strengthen your skin barrier, as well as mild cleansing agents that are less likely to irritate or damage your skin. It is, by far, the gentlest cleanser I’ve ever used. It also contains antioxidants and hydrating ingredients such as Matcha and Hemp Seed Oil, making my skin feel smooth and hydrated after I use it.

I'll be honest, I love to play around with different types of skincare products, but there are very few days that I feel the desire to stray from my Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser.
