5 Things to Do When You Have a Pimple
Popping a zit is tempting, I know! But trust me, it's not worth it. I put together a list of my favorite ways to deal with a pimple besides popping.
Free Radicals and Why You Need Antioxidant Skincare
From the way cosmetics companies talk about free radicals, you’d think we’d need to call a priest to exorcise every last one out of our bodies. But, the truth is, our body needs these little guys in moderation! They play a huge role in our biological processes. They’re the reason we can turn air and food into chemical energy and they also play an important role in our immune system. We only start running into issues with free radicals when our body creates too many of them.
Levitate Spotlight: Billie Razors Are Taking On The Pink Tax And Celebrating Women's Body Hair
In addition to their amazing razors, what really makes Billie stand out to me is the fact that a lot of their messaging celebrates women’s body hair. Billie mentioned to me that they’re the first women’s razor brand to show body hair in their ads. Billie makes it clear that body hair on women is normal and that whether or not we shave is our personal choice.
Organization Tips For Beauty Hoarders
I almost always recommend displaying your skincare in places that are visible and easily accessible, and grouping similar products together in a way that makes sense to you (whether this is by function, brand, color, or price point). Your goal is to make it easier to keep an inventory of what you have and how much you have so that you don't let products go bad before you have a chance to finish them.

Kairetool is The Beauty Tool That Might Just Replace My Facial Roller
Selfkaire developed a tool that addresses the drawbacks of a traditional roller. It's made of surgical steel, so it's much sturdier than a traditional roller which is great for those of us that like to apply more pressure when massaging, and the gentle rounded pins at the end can be used to target acupressure points. Plus a huge bonus: it looks great on my vanity. But what I love most about Kairetool is that it's more than just a beauty tool. It's incredibly versatile and it can be used on your body as well!
My Favorite Hydrating Wash-Off Mask This Fall
Like all Farmacy products, Honey Potion includes hydrating honey sourced from their farms in upstate New York. According to the brand, the bees pollinate their trademarked GreenEnvy flowers, which infuses their honey with antioxidants. The sticky honey-textured mask lathers into a rich cream and produces a warming sensation when applied. The first time I used it, I didn't realize it was supposed to warm up so I was somewhat alarmed - but don't fret! It's totally normal and after knowing what to expect, I really appreciate the warmth and I'll welcome it with open arms during particularly cold days. The warming sensation stayed pretty consistent during the 15 minutes that I let the mask sit, but it wasn't overwhelming.
